Vouvray
There is not only one Vouvray but several different Vouvrays. The wine can be sweet, flavored or full-body and dry. The wines are made from 100% Chenin blanc and the special Vouvray caracteristics come from the soil which is "tuffeau". The sweet wine has a golden color, is vigorous, fruity and fresh. The dry and semi dry are rich and intense.
