Gran Bierzo Tinto Mencia Reserva 2001

Red color ruby of cap happens, with edges weave in the thin cap. Aromatic high intensity with very complex aromas of a long upbringing in wood: coffee, chocolate, figs steps, tobacco.... In mouth it appears as a very polished, round wine, with a very easy end of mouth, and a persistent posttaste. In aftertaste, licorice and chocolate appears. This wine remains between 12 and 18 months in cask of American and french oak. Later it rests between 18 and 24 months in bottle.
